Players start with a token and take turns rolling a die that will indicate the number of squares to advance. The tiles are moved according to the numbering on the board, in ascending order. If at the end of a move a player lands on a square where a straight begins, he goes up it to the square where it ends. If, on the other hand, it falls into one where the head of a snake begins, it descends through it to the square where its tail ends. The player who makes it to the final square is the winner.
